The snow has abated and work continues to progress well on site.

Now that the Glulam Structure and the JJI Joists are in place (both supplied by James Jones.) we asked the Architect and also the Engineer, David Narro Assoc. to visit the site and check that all the connection detailing had been constructed in line with their expectations. Whilst the majority of the details had been produced prior to construction, a few last minute changes were made to design which then involved some site sketches and the requirement for final inspection. This inspection then allowed the roof decking to commence and is a major step towards a wind and watertight building.

James Jones were also recently invited to site to take photographs of the materials supplied by them now in place.

The roofing works are further progressing with the forming of the valley and gutter sections along with the ventilation to the roof makeup which is required to control condensation before the roof sheets arrive on site.

The next phase of the project will now concentrate on the internal services layout and meetings are now being held to finalise the desk layout and coordinate the services to suit.
