The practice, based in central Edinburgh, wanted a fresh new style for their studio which would reflect their values of simplicity, quality and integrity. Russwood’s European oak flooring in Chalk proved the perfect match to those qualities.

The long boards and wider profile selected create a simple and seamless aesthetic, with the prime grade giving a contemporary and stylish feel. The colour choice of ‘Chalk’ enhances this modern look and brightens the entire space. The flooring is the perfect complement to the new studio design, which features a large glazed screen, bespoke ‘standing’ desk and striking linear light fitting.
