Founded by Jamie Grainger-Smith, who has over 20 years’ experience working within some of the world’s most influential restaurants, T.E.D. ensures environmental awareness can translate to a successful foodie business that quite literally, doesn’t cost the earth.

Guilt-free Pleasure

After launching several ‘green’ award winning eateries in partnership with others, T.E.D. has delivered its own flagship restaurant in King’s Cross, London.  Working with designers DrieDee International and The House With, the ultimate aim has been to create a stylish, elegant restaurant that provides a relaxed atmosphere for clientele to enjoy a feel-good dining experience in, without compromising on their commitment to the planet.

Exquisite Taste

In keeping with a menu that embraces international flavours using seasonally available, fully traceable British ingredients; the striking interior has been lovingly brought together from both sustainable and salvaged materials, sourced from suppliers that have been hand-picked for their quality products and eco-sensitive practices.

Another Level

In testament to their ethos, the result is a light, bright and classy ground floor level studded throughout with pops of colour that energise the atmosphere without effort, with cool cream undertones enhanced by pale limed wood flooring.  Descending to the lower level, a more intimate feel prevails with several old coal-drop vaults providing private dining, while other diners enjoy a view of the active, open kitchen.  The vibrant décor is continuous throughout both levels, and this subtle difference in mood in the cosier basement is underpinned by the use of Russwood’s Chateau Ebony Character Oak boards, which provide a rich, warm finish.
